My RUKO Knife Collection
According to the AI Overview:
Ruko is the exclusive North American importer of Muela knives, a Spanish manufacturer known for high-quality hunting, tactical, and collectible knives.
They also note that:
RUKO LLC and RUKO of Canada have a combined 79 years of experience importing, distributing, and servicing the hunting, camping, and sporting goods trades in the U.S. and Canada. They are the exclusive North American importer for MUELA knives.MUELA
has been manufacturing fixed-blade and folding knives from its factory
in Argamasilla de Calatrava, Spain, since 1955. They are known for their
exceptional craftsmanship and durability, particularly their genuine
stag (red deer) antler handle knives.
Admittedly, RUKO is not among the very expensive, high end knives. I would consider them mid-priced, but quality knives.
All of the knives in this collection are folders. The black one is an assisted opening knife. It originally had a glass breaking feature at the end, and I carried it in the car for some time for emergencies (now replaced with a cheaper Ozark Trail 6-in-1 Multi Tool, Knife with Light, Model 5335 - see below for picture for any who are interested; I got it 'for a steal' as it was a clearance item, but seems substantial for its price!). The camo one is a hunting knife I purchased when I couldn't find my original knife with a gut hook. The small one was a 'give away' when Fleet Farm gave small items to those who bought their hunting licenses from them.
The Camo knife is the RUKO 106GH Stainless Steel Folding Blade Skinning Knife. It features a 3.5 inch 440A stainless steel blade with a a 'gut hook' for field dressing deer. It also has a non-slip rubberized aluminum handle, ambidextrous thumb stud, locking liner design, 2-position 600D nylon EVA molded sheath. On Walmart, at this time (2025) this model sells for $44.48.
The larger black knife in the photo is a RUKO Model 153 with 420A steel blade. The RUKO site online describes the knife as such:
RUKO® SHARK® assisted opening knife featuring lightening quick spring
steel liner opening system (S.R.D.S.) for rapid one-handed blade
deployment; rubberized black anodized aluminum handle, ambidextrous
thumb stud, electroplated locking liner design and a rugged pocket clip.
Features a window punch and 1/3 serrated 420A Oxide Finish Stainless
Steel 3-1/2” blade, closed length: 4-1/2”. It retails for as much as $46.
So far, I would place these two in the higher end of mid-priced.
The small black knife is the RUKO model RK7032. The RUKO site describes it as such:
Nylon handle key chain folding knife, 420A stainless steel 1-7/8" blade,
lockback design, ambidextrous thumb stud. Closed length: 2-1/2".
It retails for around $4.99 to $6.50.

[Note: the Ozark Trail knife is a Walmart brand knife that retails for a bit over $13. Includes: pocket knife, mini flashlight, fire starter, glass breaker, cord cutter, and bottle opener. Seemed like an inexpensive survival knife to put in the car!]
